Good Friday
The Church’s Liturgy for Good Friday is a solemn commemoration of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.
Lift High the Cross
A central part of the Good Friday Liturgy is the procession and veneration of the Cross. A large crucifix is brought into the church and a relic of the True Cross is venerated by the faithful.
“Take Up Your Cross and Follow Me”
Good Friday is observed with another dramatized shared reading of the Passion of the Lord with the people reading the part of the angry crowd.
